Privacy Policy
This policy applies to the VPN83 marketing website and user panel. It explains what information may be processed when you use the subscription service, why it is processed and how to submit requests. Third-party payment pages are governed by their own privacy policies.
Account and Service Data
No email address is required to register; you can create an account with a username and password. VPN83 does not require an email address for registration. Keep your account credentials secure. The account system processes usernames, password verification data and login sessions to verify your identity, maintain your signed-in state and manage your subscription.
Information needed to provide the service includes your selected plan, order status, payment reference, data usage and support ticket content. This information is used to deliver your subscription, verify payments, calculate available data and provide support. When submitting a ticket, include only details relevant to the issue. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or your full subscription URL.
Scope of the No-Logs Policy
VPN83 does not keep activity logs: it does not record which websites users visit through international routes, or retain browsing content, DNS query records or connection histories that could be used to reconstruct browsing activity. It does not build user activity profiles by linking connection times, source IP addresses and destination addresses, nor does it routinely retain such connection logs.
Data usage is subscription metering information, not a list of websites visited. Temporary operational states needed to establish and transmit a connection are used only for the current communication and are not retained as connection history afterward. Account login verification and website usage analytics are separate processing activities and should not be confused with browsing records from the service routes.
Website Analytics and Local Storage
Website analytics help us understand page usage and how visitors arrive. They may include page paths, referring pages, visit times and device or browser categories. They are not used to read content on other websites accessed through a subscription route. Do not add sensitive information, such as account passwords, to page addresses or query parameters.
Cookies and local storage are used to save necessary sessions, language preferences and interface settings. The panel stores a login token locally to maintain authentication when you switch pages. Signing out or clearing browser site data removes the local state; you may need to sign in again afterward, and this does not also delete server-side order records.
Payments and Necessary Data Sharing
Supported payment methods are Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by third parties. VPN83 uses order identifiers, transaction results and information needed for reconciliation to confirm service activation, refunds and support status. We do not ask users to provide payment account passwords in support tickets.
Third parties determine how payment information is collected and retained under their own policies. Please review the relevant information before making a payment. VPN83 does not sell users' personal information. Relevant information is shared only to the extent necessary to provide the service, meet applicable legal obligations or respond to valid requests made under the law.
Data Retention and Deletion Requests
Account and subscription information is retained for as long as needed to provide the service. Order and refund information is retained as required for reconciliation, dispute handling and applicable laws. Support tickets are kept as needed to resolve the issue. Usage analytics are deleted or aggregated once their analytical purpose has been fulfilled. Retention periods vary by data type; this policy does not set a single fixed retention period.
To access, correct or delete account information, sign in to the panel and submit a request through the support ticket portal. We verify account ownership before processing a request to prevent accidental deletion. Deletion may affect your subscription. If information must be retained by law or because an order is still pending, we will explain why and restrict its use to the relevant purpose. Stopping use of the service does not itself submit a deletion request.
Policy Updates and Questions
This page will be updated if service features or data processing practices change, and the last-updated month at the top of the page will be revised. We will notify users through the website or user panel of significant changes to processing purposes, data categories or user rights. Where consent is legally required, we will request it separately.
